Volleyball Game Preview: Burns Hilanders vs. Cascade Christian Challengers + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Burns Hilanders and the Cascade Christian Challengers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Burns is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

Burns had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt St. Mary's on Saturday. The Hilanders put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 win.

Burns' got stronger as the match went on, holding St. Mary's to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-12.

Bailey Temple was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 13 digs and ten aces.

Temple wasn't the only good servers: Burns was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Cascade Christian and Vale, and Cascade Christian kept the tradition alive. The Challengers came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The Challengers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Cascade Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Burns, their victory bumped their record up to 39-1-1.
