It was fun while it lasted, but South Hardin's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Friday. They came up short against the Grundy Center Spartans, falling 63-42. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Hardin fell to 4-1. As for Grundy Center, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
