Football Recap: Tyler Winters and Keanu Escalante Secure Win for Forbush

Forbush won the last time they faced West Stokes and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons walked away with a 24-17 win over the Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Forbush was led to victory by Keanu Escalante and Tyler Winters. Escalante gained 105 total yards and a touchdown, while Winters rushed for 72 yards. Kazir Wright was in the mix as well, providing the Falcons with one touchdown.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for West Stokes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Forbush will challenge rival Surry Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Stokes is set to square off against their familiar foe Mount Airy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
