Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Triumphs

Montgomery won the last time they faced Iola and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs.

Montgomery walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 23-25, 25-15.

Montgomery can attribute much of their success to Kenzie White, who had 16 digs. Those 16 digs gave White a new career-high. Jaci Stull also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Montgomery's record now sits at 8-4. As for Iola, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.

Coming up, Montgomery will host Klein Oak at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Iola, they will take on Hudson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
