Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Gets the Win

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat the School of the Arts Silverhawks 7-4 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Irish.

Chase Antinore made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

In other batting news, Eli Grice was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 13 contests. Another player making a difference was Charles Cummings, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Notre Dame's record is now 14-4. As for School of the Arts, they dropped their record down to 11-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Notre Dame nor the Silverhawks have any future games scheduled.
