Sherman Oaks CES put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Grant Lancers with a sharp 15-2 win. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Stella Brewer was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Reagan Rosenthal was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Aliyah Sandoval, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Sherman Oaks CES always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .532 or higher in 14 consecutive matchups.

Sherman Oaks CES pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Grant, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coming up, Sherman Oaks CES will head out on the road to face off against East Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.36 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
