Paramus came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Dumont Huskies. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Huskies back in March, they had to take a 7-1 defeat.

Paramus pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Dumont, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.
