Volleyball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Whitehouse Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-17.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 23-15. As for Whitehouse, they pushed their record up to 28-12 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marshall is set to challenge their familiar foe Jacksonville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Whitehouse will square off against rival Nacogdoches at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
