Union Pines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adrian Colon, who rushed for 138 yards and two scores on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Thomas, who rushed for 106 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Union Pines was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lee County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down Harnett Central 33-19 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.
