 There's no place like home for Weaver, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  8-6  victory over the Glencoe Yellowjackets  on Tuesday. For Weaver, this counts as revenge for the   11-5 defeat Glencoe walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2023.
  Kynlee Fulmer made a splash no matter where she played. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Fulmer has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Fulmer was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Reyleigh Partner looked comfortable as she  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Sydney Bitzer was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and four  runs.  Ali Anderson was another key contributor,  going 1-for-1 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Weaver's win was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-7. As for Glencoe, they now  have a losing record at 14-15.
 Weaver will be playing at home against Ragland at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Glencoe, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Etowah at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Glencoe is facing Etowah at the right time seeing as Etowah is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
