It was a good run, but Calvary Baptist unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 61-53 to the Divine Savior Academy - Sienna Rays. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Cannon Hargrave and Tyler Wilson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hargrave went 8 for 18 on his way to 22 points, while Wilson went 8 of 20 en route to 19 points. That was a full 35.8% of Calvary Baptist's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Heine, who put up four points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals.

Calvary Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Divine Savior Academy - Sienna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Calvary Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-56 victory against Brazosport Christian on the 14th. As for Divine Savior Academy - Sienna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-38 defeat against Founders Christian on the 14th.
