Soccer Recap: Reagan Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Reagan and R.J. Reynolds had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Raiders lost 4-1 to the Demons on Monday. Reagan haven't had much luck with R.J. Reynolds recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Reagan's goal came courtesy of Mary Dixson, who's now up to five this season.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-2. As for R.J. Reynolds, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7-3.

Looking ahead, Reagan will head out to square off against East Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Reagan's defense better be ready for this one: East Forsyth have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season. As for R.J. Reynolds, they are taking a road trip to challenge Davie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
