Athens won the last time they faced Brownsboro and things went their way on Friday too. The Athens Hornets were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over the Brownsboro Bears. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by four goals or more this season.

Athens has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four games. This is the second loss in a row for Brownsboro and nudges their season record down to 8-11-1.

Coming up, Athens will square off against Pleasant Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Grove will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Athens surely won't give up without a fight. Brownsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
