Spring Lake extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-1 in the process. They blew past the Zeeland East Chix 11-2. Considering the Lakers have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Zeeland East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 4.08 runs allowed.

For Zeeland East's part, Mason Raade made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was Raade's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Kuzma, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
