Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phillips). They were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over the Hubbard Greyhounds on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Devonna Pearson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since May 1st. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Phillips got a massive performance out of Makayla Dekeyser, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs Dekeyser has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Anaja Porterfield, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with seven stolen bases and four runs.

Phillips' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Hubbard, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

As of now, neither Phillips nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
