It was a good run, but Jackson-Reed unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 4-2 to the Washington International Red Devils. Jackson-Reed were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Washington International apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Charlie Hall and Alexander Anagnostopoulos scored both of Jackson-Reed's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Jackson-Reed's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Washington International, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Jackson-Reed will take on Dunbar at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washington International, they will square off against Smith Jewish Day School at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
