Volleyball Recap: Harrison Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Harrison put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Elmwood Park Crusaders by a score of 2-0. The Blue Tide have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Harrison was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-6.

Their offense was headlined by Ryan Manini and Alaittim Deleon, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jeremy Rivera and his 13 assists.

Harrison pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Elmwood Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison will head out to square off against Lyndhurst at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Elmwood Park, they will venture away from home to challenge Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
