Basketball Game Preview: Logan-Magnolia Panthers vs. Underwood Eagles

The Logan-Magnolia Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Underwood Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan-Magnolia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Logan-Magnolia slipped by Roncalli Catholic 53-52.

Meanwhile, Underwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 40-35 to Riverside. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan-Magnolia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Underwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Logan-Magnolia couldn't quite finish off Underwood when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 41-39. Can Logan-Magnolia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
