Volleyball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

The Westview Wolverines didn't have quite enough to beat the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Westview started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Lincoln Southwest, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.

Westview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Millard North on the 18th. As for Lincoln Southwest, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Omaha Westside on the 18th.
