There's no place like home for Decatur Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Francis Indians by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win last Saturday.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22.

Brylee Minnick paced Decatur Community's offense, picking up 13 kills. Minnick got some help from Jori Fortin and her 11 assists. Fortin also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elsie Larson, each putting up three.

Decatur Community moved to 14-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 6-24-4.

Decatur Community has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Wallace County on the 11th. St. Francis has also already played their next match (against Triplains), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
