Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ayanna Hill and Milani Drake Lead Omaha North to Victory

Omaha North won the last time they faced Lincoln High and things went their way on Thursday too. The Omaha North Vikings walked away with a 59-46 victory over the Lincoln High Links. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Omaha North was led to victory by Milani Drake and Ayanna Hill. Drake dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Hill almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Hill has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Akazja Foster, who scored seven points and four steals.

Omaha North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Omaha North's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Lincoln High, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.
