Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Raiders vs. Grayson County Cougars

For the second straight game, Trinity will face off against Grayson County. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Trinity will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Grayson County, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders walked away with a 7-3 win over the Cougars on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Kayin Howard, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Trinity: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Keaton Abbott was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

The win got Trinity back to even at 5-5. As for Grayson County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10.
