Softball Recap: Quincy Gets the Win

Quincy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Hillsdale Hornets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Orioles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2015.

Deziray Skirka was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Miley Poindexter, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

The win got Quincy back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Quincy will face off against Concord at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsdale, they will challenge Vandercook Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
