Baseball Game Preview: ALA - Ironwood Warriors vs. Payson Longhorns

The ALA - Ironwood Warriors will square off against the Payson Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. ALA - Ironwood has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

ALA - Ironwood came up short against Gilbert Christian on Thursday, falling 13-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

ALA - Ironwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Watson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Payson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-3 to Show Low.

ALA - Ironwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Payson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

ALA - Ironwood couldn't quite get it done against Payson when the teams last played back in March as they fell 14-11. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
