Softball Recap: Seagoville Comes Up Short

Seagoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 23-3 to the North Mesquite Stallions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 on March 4th.

Seagoville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for North Mesquite, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Seagoville will head out on the road to square off against Samuell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Mesquite, they will face off against Wilson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something North Mesquite surely won't give up without a fight.
