Basketball Recap: Port Huron Northern Gets the Win

Port Huron Northern hadn't done well against Grosse Pointe North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Port Huron Northern Huskies walked away with a 44-37 victory over the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen. While the Huskies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for Port Huron Northern and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Grosse Pointe North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Port Huron is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.
