Football Recap: East Henderson Eagles vs. Pisgah Bears
A win for East Henderson just wasn't in the cards on Tuesday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Pisgah Bears. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
It was another big night for Aaron Clark, who threw for 196 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 64 yards on only seven carries for Pisgah.
East Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pisgah, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Henderson will head out to square off against North Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Henderson is facing North Henderson at the right time seeing as North Henderson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pisgah, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
