Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Holy Cross duked it out with Pleasure Ridge Park on Tuesday. The Holy Cross Cougars lost 61-41 to the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Panthers are ranked 18th).

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Holy Cross has already played their next contest, a 74-63 defeat against DeSales on the 7th. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-30 win against Shawnee on the 5th.
