The Minuteman Regional Minuteman will be playing at home against the Northeast Metro RVT Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Minuteman Regional has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 327 points over their last five contests.
In what's become a running theme this season, Minuteman Regional gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They blew past Notre Dame Cristo Rey 64-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Minuteman Regional has posted against Notre Dame Cristo Rey since January 29, 2015.
Meanwhile, Northeast Metro RVT scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Nashoba Valley Tech 78-48 on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Northeast Metro RVT as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Chris Zullo was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Cardoso, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Minuteman Regional pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Northeast Metro RVT, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
Minuteman Regional strolled past Northeast Metro RVT in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 64-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Northeast Metro RVT's Jayden Outlaw, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
