Soccer Recap: Stratford Gets the Win

Stratford was handed a five-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Sunday. They had just enough and edged out the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers 3-2.

Harold Carranza and Maddox Pompey scored all three of Stratford's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Stratford's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Christ Church Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stratford will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Pinewood Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they will challenge Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on March 10th.
