Baseball Recap: Oscar Smith Gets the Win

Oscar Smith barely beat Indian River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers never let the Braves get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Donte Brooks Jr., who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Brooks Jr. wasn't the only one making solid contact: Oscar Smith kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Indian River only managed one hit.
