Kings Mountain won the last time they faced Burns and things went their way on Friday too. The Mountaineers snuck past the Bulldogs with a 40-34 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mountaineers.

Jarlon Drye had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 172 yards and four TDs.

Kings Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Burns, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kings Mountain will host Bandys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Burns, they will be playing at home against East Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
