Xavier College Prep has gone a perfect 5-0 against Millennium recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Gators will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 3:45 p.m. Xavier College Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Xavier College Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Desert Vista, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Xavier College Prep was ranked 12th). The Gators blew past the Thunder 11-5 on Thursday. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Angie Falls made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sariah McNabb, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Makenzie Latvaaho was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.
Xavier College Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-6 to Corona del Sol.
Millennium saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlotte McCloskey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was McCloskey's first of the season. Another was Cassie Garza, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.
Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Xavier College Prep, their record now sits at 12-5-3.
Millennium's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Xavier College Prep has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Millennium, though, as they've been averaging 10.5 hits. Given Xavier College Prep's sizable advantage in that area, the Tigers will need to find a way to close that gap.
