Vela waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Weslaco Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Savanah Rivera paced Vela's offense, picking up eight kills. Rivera got some help from Lauren Hanson and her 23 assists.
