Softball Recap: Kalamazoo Christian Comes Up Short

Kalamazoo Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Parchment Panthers. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Kalamazoo Christian's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-8. As for Parchment, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Kalamazoo Christian has already played their next matchup (against Watervliet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Parchment, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Climax-Scotts at 4:30 p.m. Parchment's pitchers better be ready for this one: Climax-Scotts has averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
