Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Davidson Snags Tenth Win in Last 12 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hilliard Davidson walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Dublin Jerome Celtics on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Celtics walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Leading Hilliard Davidson to victory were Alex Holdridge and Logan Buck. Holdridge had five digs and two aces, while Buck had ten digs. That's the most aces Holdridge has posted since back in April.

Hilliard Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Dublin Jerome, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 14-11 record.

Coming up, Hilliard Davidson will face off against Thomas Worthington on Saturday. The CARDINALS will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Dublin Jerome does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
