Basketball Recap: Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 11, 2023 on Monday. They were outmatched by the Trinity Christian Tigers and fell 57-19. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Riley Burnham, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 12 points in addition to six assists and six steals for Trinity Christian. Burnham has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Macey Skinner, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Trinity Christian, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

As for Trinity Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Trinity Christian Tigers challenge the New Life Academy Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian is facing New Life Academy at the right time seeing as New Life Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
