Volleyball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Takes a Loss

NCSSM: Durham's tournament run continued when they took on Mooresville on Saturday. The Unicorns took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-10.

Leading Mooresville to victory were Siena DiThomas and Sicily DiThomas. Siena had 11 assists and two aces, while Sicily had 11 assists. Siena is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mooresville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NCSSM: Durham will host Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Unicorns their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mooresville, they will welcome Community School of Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
