Soccer Recap: Rockford Auburn Takes a Loss

Rockford Auburn lost against Jefferson back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell just short of the J-Hawks by a score of 3-2. Rockford Auburn have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adelein Halsted wasn't going to let Jefferson walk away unscathed as she scored both of Rockford Auburn's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Rockford Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Jefferson, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Coming up, Rockford Auburn will take on Warren Township at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Rockford East on the 16th.
