Real Life Christian Academy and Ocala Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. Real Life Christian Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Ocala Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Real Life Christian Academy has seven straight wins, Ocala Christian has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Real Life Christian Academy got the win against Lake Buena Vista by a conclusive 14-4. The Raptors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Rylee Lyon was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. She has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Kirton, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Ocala Christian lost 17-2 to Cedar Key on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered against the Sharks since March 7, 2017.
Ocala Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valery Coello-Alamo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Lainie Culver also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Even though they lost, Ocala Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Real Life Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.6 runs over those games. As for Ocala Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything went Real Life Christian Academy's way against Ocala Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Real Life Christian Academy made off with a 22-9 victory.
