Basketball Game Preview: Salisbury Hornets vs. West Rowan Falcons

Salisbury and West Rowan are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2014, but not for long. The Salisbury Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Rowan Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Salisbury faced off against Lexington. in a bug-themed battle on Tuesday. Salisbury fell to Lexington 62-56. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 90th).

Meanwhile, West Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-38 loss at the hands of East Rowan.

West Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Salisbury, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-5.
