Basketball Recap: Drew Perry Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Wylie Prep Academy

Lakehill Prep lost to Wylie Prep Academy back in December of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lakehill Prep Warriors walked away with a 55-44 win over the Wylie Prep Academy Patriots. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakehill Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Perry, who went 7 of 15 en route to 21 points. Perry has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Preston Corder, who posted 17 points and three steals.

Lakehill Prep's record is now 6-1. As for Wylie Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lakehill Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-38 loss against Heritage Christian on the 7th. As for Wylie Prep Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-35 defeat against Fellowship Academy on the 7th.
