Volleyball Recap: Dixie Takes a Loss

Dixie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricane Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 3rd.

While Dixie ultimately came up short, they really made Hurricane work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 24-26, 27-25.

Dixie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Hurricane, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Dixie nor Hurricane have any future games scheduled.
