Football Game Preview: Central Catholic Raiders vs. Mountain House Mustangs + How To Watch

The Central Catholic Raiders will take on the Mountain House Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Catholic has given up an average of 37.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Central Catholic lost to Oakdale on the road by a 60-46 margin. While the Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 14-7 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Mountain House played a tough contest last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Manteca and fell 63-24. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-17.

Central Catholic will have to contain Erin Foster as he made an impact in Mountain House's last game. He rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 178 yards and one TD on only 16 passes. Foster's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Jacoby Johnson, who gained 118 total yards and a touchdown.

Mountain House has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
