Basketball Recap: Providence's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Providence rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 64-41 margin over the Whitney Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Pioneers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Providence now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Whitney, their loss dropped their record down to 13-16.

Coming up, Providence will face off against La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Providence knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully La Salle likes a good challenge. Whitney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
