After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plattsburgh, Saranac Lake was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Northeastern Clinton Cougars 3-0. The Red Storm have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

One reason for the win was Saranac Lake's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-15.

Kasey Clark paced Saranac Lake's offense, picking up six kills. Clark got some help from Sophie Czadzeck and her nine assists. Lexie Donaldson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Saranac Lake's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Northeastern Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Saranac Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Saranac on the 18th. As for Northeastern Clinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Northern Adirondack on the 18th.
