            Softball Recap: St. Peter Saints vs. Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans        
        
		
        
        
            St. Peter blew Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Tuesday Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] got their revenge. The Saints fell just short of the Titans by a score of  3-1. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won  12-4.
  Meghan Graham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double. That  double was  her first of the season.
St. Peter's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-6. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the  losses came by an average of only 3.5 runs. As for Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center], the  victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Peter will take on Worthington at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center], they will challenge Belle Plaine at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
