Soccer Recap: Mount Pisgah Christian Falls to Pinecrest Academy in First Game of Season

Mount Pisgah Christian had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Pinecrest Academy Paladins, falling 7-1. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Paladins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Pisgah Christian will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Hebron Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mount Pisgah Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pinecrest Academy, they will be playing at home against King's Ridge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
