Basketball Recap: Riverton Find Success

Riverton won the last time they faced Southeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Riverton Rams pulled ahead with a 26-25 photo finish over the Southeast Lancers.

Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Teagan Warner, who posted eight points and ten boards. With that strong performance, Warner is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. Braelyn Sutton was another key player, putting up five points and eight boards.

Riverton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Southeast, they moved to 4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Riverton has already played their next match (against Liberal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-22 win against Parsons on the 24th.
