The Dibble Demons are taking a road trip to square off against the Holdenville Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Dibble sitting on five straight wins and Holdenville on six.
Dibble is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Comanche 55-0. The Demons pushed the score to 48-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians had no chance of recovering from.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tucker Skipper and Wyatt Malchaski. Skipper rushed for 46 yards and two TDs while Malchaski rushed for 117 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Malchaski is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 104 every time he's taken the field this season.
Dibble was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Holdenville's matchup on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past Beggs 52-26. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Holdenville's win came from a few key players Dibble will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Abe Gomez, who rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Black, who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
One reason for the win was Holdenville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Joe Remis was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
Dibble's record is now 5-1. As for Holdenville, their record now sits at 6-0.
Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Dibble has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 219.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Holdenville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 473.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Dibble ended up a good deal behind Holdenville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, losing 38-20. Can the Demons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
